I am a first-time, self-published author. I wrote this book because I knew our Canadian law was going to fail my children and I, as it had done so many times in the past... and I was right. I knew I had to find a way to make my voice heard, so I began to write.
This book is my microphone; it is my loudspeaker; it is my voice - it is the voice of many women and children in Canada who are currently suffering in silence as we speak.
This book needs to be heard so that changes can be made. You can't fix a problem if you don't know what the problem is. I am hoping this book will help pinpoint those problems so the right people can work on getting them fixed.
